the drive back to Camp Stone

I almost forgot I still had some pictures from my road trip south, these last ones being from the drive back to Herat. A fairly uneventful drive, no kids throwing rocks at us or anything of the sort. And we did it in pretty good time, a little over 4 hours with a stop along the way in Showz. That is a good thing because the hummers are anything but comfortable, but they'll protect us from rock-throwing kids!

I am scheduled to be deployed to Camp Stone within the next 12 days....I have found your website very useful with preparing myself mentally. Please keep up the good work, your pics are awesome!

I left Camp Stone in February this year. I was the old postal person on camp before the civilians took it over. They were doing some construction still when I left and I never got to see the finish of the new post office even though I helped plan it. Is there any way you can send pictures to me? E-mail is tiffany.a.dollinger@us.army.mil Thanks
